A macropad layer that types quotes at the press of a button
I absolutely love my macropad, so I built a dedicated layer on it that types out a set of ridiculous quotes at the press of a single button. It has been so much fun that I decided to get some PCBs made and send them around to other people, with a reset button and a physical on/off switch on the board and sockets as an optional extra. Anyone building one will need MX switches, keycaps, and a nice!nano clone of their own.

My god I absolutely love this macropad. I made a whole layer on it dedicated to a collection of ridiculous quotes, so that each one gets typed out at the press of a button. Things like "nootropia type shit bro", "don't do dis shit, don't do dat, do dis, do dat", "failing to prepare is preparing to fail", and "exelixi bro, open the fuckin pita". This is so much fun, and I reckon everyone needs a macropad.
So I am going to get some PCBs made and send them around. Nicolas Mattia asked for one, which is what pushed me to do a small batch rather than keep it to myself, and he also asked what he would need on his end. The board will have a reset button and a physical on off switch, and I will probably make sockets optional. On the builder's side you need MX switches, keycaps, and a nice!nano clone.
